Privacy policy
Last updated Oct. 22, 2026
LexLift is a one-person company run by Tim, who is not a lawyer. This page says plainly what we collect and who else handles it. Questions or requests: lexliftai.llc@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Subscriber details: your name, email address, firm or office, practice areas and plan. We use them only to deliver the digest, answer you and keep billing records.
- Billing records from Stripe: plan, amounts, payment status. We never see or store your card number.
- What you email us. Please never send client names, facts, documents or anything confidential or privileged. LexLift is not set up to protect privileged material; if client information reaches us, we delete it when we notice.
LexLift has no user accounts. The website has no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
Who else handles it
- Stripe processes payments and runs the customer portal where you update your card or cancel. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to what you give it.
- Google (Gmail) carries our email, including the daily digest.
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it may process technical data such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site.
- AI providers receive only public court opinions and LexLift’s own drafts, never your details. DeepSeek drafts the briefs; Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI are used for internal testing and building. Details are in the Data & AI statement.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with anyone except these service providers, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it, and your choices
- We keep subscriber details while you subscribe. Ask us and we’ll delete them within 30 days, except billing records the law requires us to keep.
- You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop emailing you at any time by writing to lexliftai.llc@gmail.com. We give everyone these choices.
- If information about you that LexLift holds is ever exposed, we will tell you promptly.
People named in court opinions
Court opinions often name parties, witnesses and others. LexLift processes the opinions exactly as the courts published them and does not look anyone up or add information about anyone. If you are named in an opinion and have a concern about a LexLift brief, email us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell subscribers by email about any material change.
